Savor the Brazilian way of life by teaching English in the favelas, and soak in breathtaking beaches and dunes, along with the rich culture and history of this Latin American country.
Brazil is the second most popular tourism destination in South America. So learning English will give Brazilians better employment opportunities in tourism. However, at the favelas, the disadvantaged people have no means to improve their English, as private schools where English is taught by trained teachers is very expensive. So as a volunteer, you will provide intensive English language classes that will help people in the favelas learn English. You will be teaching basic English and make the teaching fun and interactive.
Volunteer in Brazil and help the deprived people have a better future. Your efforts will be highly appreciated by the local community. While volunteering, you will stay as a local, make local friends, and enjoy the landscape and beaches of Rio de Janeiro.
