As someone who is new to the world of teaching English as a Foreign language, I have been going through the motions of excitement, nervousness, and at times being at a loss on what my next step should be in preparation for my trip to teach in China. TEFL Nomad has been a great online supporter through its accessible and thorough course.

For someone who does not have a lot of teaching experience or navigating the classroom, TEFL Nomad's 120 hr course really steps in with its modules breaking down the main components of teaching, making some of the most difficult aspects of teaching (grammar, classroom management, etc.) engaging and creative by providing a lot material and ideas to include in your own classroom and something to look forward to and not dread in your teaching journey. Overall, what sets this course apart from others is its emphasis on practical application and empathy when it comes to students. Looking forward to teach from the knowledge I have gained from this course. :)

A lot of the information in this course is extremely valuable for those beginning their TEFL journey. The course is structured well and increases in rigor as you move through. I The topics can be a bit repetitive sometimes, which can get monotonous. However, it further helps drive some of the necessary points home. The sections regarding grammar, classroom environment, and lesson planning were notably helpful. The podcasts and sample worksheets were great supplementary materials along with the course readings. I am fortunate to have obtained such useful information and will gladly employ these concepts in the classroom! I thoroughly enjoyed this course!

An amazing and fully encompassing course that will enable me to have the best outcomes in my classroom. The course does a deep dive into all types of situations that you can face in teaching. It is heavily theoretical but uses language well and videos to help explain how to put these theories into practice. It has expanded upon the knowledge I have learned throughout my PGCE course and it has made me feel more prepared for my adventure to come. I recommend this course to anybody wanting to travel abroad or teach online.
